Dalia or bulgur is quite popular in India and is usually given to kids in the form of porridge. But adults shouldnâ€™t miss out on this healthy ingredient as it is high in fibre, low in fat, diabetic-friendly and also suitable for people who want to lose weight. But instead of eating plain porridge, here, we make it into a salad which adds more nutrition to it and makes it healthier. Hereâ€™s the recipe.
1. Pressure cook the dalia in 2 cups water.
2. In a bowl, add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander, chopped mint, olive oil, lemon juice, pepper powder and cinnamon powder and mix.
3. Add dalia and mix. Serve immediately.
